The purpose of the Biblical Studies courses is to enable the Christian minister to understand the text an context of the Bible for ministry. 

This category includes: Old Testament, New Testament, Hermeneutics, and Biblical Languages.

This course is a detailed study on the book of Jeremiah, Zephaniah, Nahum, and Habakkuk. These prophetic books will be studied within in their particular historical, literary, and canonical contexts.


This is the second of two parts in the study of the Old Testament, that includes the book of Kings, Prophets, and Writings. This course will introduce the different methodologies and approaches to the understanding of the text which will enable the student to read and interpret Old Testament passages with confidence.

This course is a continuation of Biblical Hebrew 1. 

After learning the Historical Narrative Discourse, this course will now examine the various genres of Direct Speech. 



This course looks at effective two-way communication between
Christians and members of other faiths, especially major non-Christian
faiths in Asia. Emphasis will be placed on the missiological role of
interfaith dialogue in mutual understanding, gaining insight, and
sharing one’s faith.

This course is a detailed study on the book of Romans and Galatians. These two books will be studied within in their particular historical, literary, and canonical contexts.


Old Testament 1 is an introductory course to the study of the Old Testament on the five first books of the Hebrew Bible also known as the Torah, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy; and the books of the Former Prophets, Joshua, Judges, and Samuel.
This is the study of Biblical Hebrew that aims to help the students read the Old Testament in its original language. The students will also be introduced to the concept of Discourse Analysis so that the understanding of the text in its context will be forefront. No pre-requisites required. This course assumes that the students have no prior lessons in Biblical Hebrew. This course is a master level course worth 3 credit units.
