The PBTS English Exam for Admission scheduled on May 2023.

This course is a detailed study on the book of Romans and Galatians. These two books will be studied within in their particular historical, literary, and canonical contexts.


Old Testament 1 is an introductory course to the study of the Old Testament on the five first books of the Hebrew Bible also known as the Torah, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy; and the books of the Former Prophets, Joshua, Judges, and Samuel.
This is the study of Biblical Hebrew that aims to help the students read the Old Testament in its original language. The students will also be introduced to the concept of Discourse Analysis so that the understanding of the text in its context will be forefront. No pre-requisites required. This course assumes that the students have no prior lessons in Biblical Hebrew. This course is a master level course worth 3 credit units.

This course is an overview of anthropological principles for cross-cultural communication and relationships that are applicable to enhance both national and international ministries.


This course is a continuation of Biblical Hebrew 1. 

After learning the Historical Narrative Discourse, this course will now examine the various genres of Direct Speech. 


This course is a study of the biblical roots and development of Christian worship; an analysis of worship patterns and worship themes with an emphasis on harmonizing the worship experience of a community.

This course takes the student to a tour of the world of theological thinking and writing. at the end of this course the student is able to understand the rhetoric and practice of theological writings: theological reflections, theological arguments, theological essays, theological imaginations, book review, book critique, theological construction, ethnography, and devotionals.
